Did NBA cha get this rule in the offseason? This is the 2nd dunk in a week that got a tech. It used to be you couldn't do a pull up on the rim but hanging was fine. I dont get it

There's a difference between being a Homer and a complete idiot. There's a line. If your player committed an obvious flagrant 2, you can maybe argue flagrant 1 vs 2 but don't be an idiot and say he barely touched him and the other player flopped. It's insulting to the fans.

And the worst I've ever heard was whoever boston had in the early 2000s. I think it was Tommy h. What a gasbag he was.

That's the type of tech that the NBA will let stand today on Nov 9th but would rescind if giannis was close to 15 with a month left on the season

I've wondered this myself. These are nba players so I guess just being closer makes it easier for them. For me though, I always thought straight out or even slightly off center was easiest. Sure it's further but I think having the backboard helped me judge distance better
