They traded Bey for peanuts. 24 year old forward that could actually shoot and defend. Any proper team would fire their GM into the sun after that. Until they get a superstar in the draft they will keep being the worst team in the league.

Honestly, out of all the young players who have impressed me, Cade Cunningham is not it. I get that it was overall a so-so draft, but he has been very underwhelming.

Ya the Rockets were not relevant for 3 years. OMG. What a travesty. Not being relevant is a decade long type thing for Pistons.
The comparison to Houston is spot on. Both came into the off-season with young talent and needing a new coach. Houston “overpaid” on players who were actually successful veterans in the league. Detroit picked up young players who only have “potential” because of when they were drafted. Obviously it’s easy to tell which team was going to have more success. I don’t understand how some of these GMs don’t have much common sense thinking

They are bad but I think 4 or so teams will have a worse record by the end of the year. Wizards, Blazers, Jazz are very likely and probably the Spurs too. Maybe the Bulls if/when they blow it up.
pistons fans were talking so fucking much after the kings “gave” them jaden ivey and they signed bagley. which were idiotic moves since day 1.

Detroit has won four (!!!) of their last 41 games. It's crazy to grasp how bad that is. And they'd have to literally repeat their 4-37 stretch to finish 8-74 in an 82-game stretch.
