  • the bulls have some legit players but cant seem to get over the hump and they’re very frustrated

  • the hornets are the hornets and even michael jordan move on from them

  • the clippers reap what they sow

  • the grizzlies are injury ridden and drama filled with Ja

We are so bad nobody even offers their sympathy

[–] paxusromanus811@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

We have Vic , a ton of future pics, and some interesting other young guys. We don't deserve much sympathy. We are in a better spot then most teams at this stage in a rebuild.

[–] Individual_Attempt50@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Pistons, they haven’t won a playoff game since 2010

[–] ButtsButtsBurner@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Still wild not seeing the Kings here because through my whole life they've been bad bad.

We out the gutter yall

[–] biinroii01@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

congrats man and ur team is all chilll good guys like fox and sabonis which is chill lol

[–] paxusromanus811@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

As a Spurs fan who grew up spoiled, I'm so damn happy for King's fans this season. Well last season too. Lived in Sacramento for a bit and that city has always supported them even through the endless sucking and that is always awesome to see a fan base ride and die with their guys.

As a Hawks fan, I feel bad for the hawks. I feel like trae has peaked and this is the Trae Young Hawks' final form. We have taken on his identity. Lots of scoring, but defense so bad that we will hover around 500 all season. We are basically going to be a first or second round playoff exit until trae asks to leave and we start a rebuild.

Of course that is probably better than being Pistons fan, but I am the main character of the universe and they are just some downtrodden NPCs.

[–] dangheckinpupperino@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Eh, give it time. Trae has been better and JJ is breaking out. New coach and system. Likely making personnel changes at center within the next year. Still have our own first this year and a 2029 first to trade in the future. Along with that massive trade exception from the JC trade.

Things could look very differently in the near future. Now if personnel changes and we’re still in the same spot basically, then yeah, Trae is gone. Snyder won’t be the one on the hot seat.

[–] NedStarx11@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Most disappointing? Has to be the griz.

They were supposed to be a playoff team… looking like a top 5 lottery team and I don’t think Jah can save them

[–] jgman22@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Why would I feel bad for a team protecting someone who abused his wife and kid?

[–] Dang_it_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Pelicans have been in purgatory forever and the Zion hype never panned out

[–] jdeckro@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The Clippers will be better once Kawhi and PG are back from injury.

[–] Routine_Size69@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

And they'll be bad when they're back from being healthy

[–] blitzKriegzzz@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

None of these team can compete with the Poozma duo

Warriors cuz they are washed. Shoutout to Wembemyama carrying a dead Spurs team on his back. He will get a spinal injury soon.

[–] AnxiousLeopard4650@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

How can you justify saying Steph is washed?

[–] leverkusenschlekt@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The Clippers are a fucking tragedy and I wish they would just put that team out of its misery. 4 first ballot hall of farmers and three will retire ringless if they don't leave. Russ and PG deserve to be shipped off to contenders at least, Harden isn't a max player anymore, and Kawhi is probably one more injury away from retirement being his best option.

[–] youarehidingachild@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Easily the Knicks because Clyde is no longer commentating road games. Why is this even a discussion

It’s the pistons and no one else is close. They might genuinely finish with a worse win percent than 2012 bobcats

[–] OldKingRob@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Pistons are hot garbage

Monty made out like a king though

[–] Hifosty@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I dont watch many Jazz games but it feels like they are a team full of sixth mans

[–] LauriMarQanon@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Team full of sixth mans is a perfect way to describe the jazz right now

Pistons feel legitimately like the only really awful team this season

[–] GuessableSevens@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I feel bad for the Spurs, because they are doing a terrible job with Wembanyama. I'm seriously worried they are affecting his ultimate ceiling.

Popovich has been a below average coach for at least 2-3 years now and he has been AWFUL this year.

Playing Wemby at the 4 makes no sense at all. His rim protection is arguably the best in the league when he's in the paint. He has the GOAT catch radius on rolls, he can bully or shoot over mismatches on switches when it's a guard, and you can use him as a playmaking hub in the post or at the nail.

Instead, Popvich runs nonstop isos for him at the baseline or the elbow which are his biggest weaknesses because he's fucking 7'4", and to a monstrous 30% USG.

I have watched Wemby for a long time and he was never going to be a strong shooter in this league, only a solid one when good looks are created. His genius in scoring is in PnR roll man play, spot up shooting, and scoring around the rim. Everyone knew this last year.

The Nuggets bench. To the G league with all of them. Some should start learning mandarin.

[–] biinroii01@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

i was praying braun would have a breakout year

[–] Lol69HaHaHa@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nah Braun is fine. He is putting up ok numbers and is quite solid on defense.

The thing is that Braun does what he is supposed to do well enough, but they are missing shot creators and vets.

The bench might seem terrible, but on an individual level it is quite solid. Full of guys that can do what they were brought in to do. However its clear that the bench is focused way too much on defense and athleticism. Im guessing the Nuggets focused a lot on improving the defense and they didnt bother looking at their other weaknesses.

It makes it look like the Nuggets dont have depth, whike in truth they can easily swap out everyone during the game besides Jokic and Murray.

In all honesty the whole Nuggets roster is full of great roleplayers, but they are mostly not all that versatile.

Along with that Jokic is missing his partner so he is a single threat on the offense which is easier to counter compared to when he has Jamal.

Honestly if we had a guy like CP3, wed be in a lot better of a position. Honestly any sort of decent point guard would do the trick.

[–] KenKinV2@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The Nets are the most painful mediocre team in the league

[–] Individual_Attempt50@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

only for the short term

[–] Sharcbait@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Hornets fans dealing with Bridges situation. Fuck that guy and fuck the team for just choosing basketball talent is more important than having high class people.

[–] Hi_Im_Garrett@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Probably the Grizzlies, although I'm biased. They're the only team that had real playoff aspirations that are clearly dead that I can think of. I guess you could say Pistons or Wizards. But they're just the worst. I thought it was clear they were/are still rebuilding. Not just this season but in general I feel the worst for Wizard fans. They have no future star or hope. I believe half the ppl in this sub could have led them to a playoff birth over the last decade.

[–] charlesbarkley2021@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The Wizards are so bad that they don't even make OP's list, and you have to scroll down through a couple of dozen comments before someone even mentions them.

[–] Select_Bite1557@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Was a bit hyped with about the Pistons, but men, they can’t get any Ws

[–] Inevitable-Paint-650@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Seems like all this tank commanders are in the east

[–] SuperMachoMan69@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

grizzlies definitely

[–] FriendlyPipesUp@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Probably the nets lol. A middling to bad team that got some stars and so everybody hated them, in short. But now all those stars are gone, the nets didn’t really get much out of it in the end, and everyone has just forgot about them lol

So now they’re coming out of all that weirdness and it’s back to mediocrity for however long

[–] towhom_it_mayconcern@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Every Hornets fan is thrilled MJ is gone.

[–] TheGamersGazebo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Grizz, it's like 30 games in and their season is statistically over. They were a competing team, but I saw somewhere Ja needs to go on like a 40-15 run after he comes back for them to even make the playoffs. An entire year just wiped off a contending teams window. Karma might have hit them, but this is a bit too much.

[–] clashcityrocker20@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Definitely the pistons.

[–] TheHhedge@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I imagine it’s the Bulls or Pistons. The Wiz are in year one of a tank after years of mediocrity, and during year one of a tank it’s easy to see good stuff on the horizon. The Grizzlies can just say “well we can wait for injuries and Ja and then we’re good”. The Clippers are like .500, weird inclusion. Say what you will about the Hornets, but the young core does genuinely look good, and our 2nd overall is playing good. Having a lottery pick not bust is worth hanging a banner for Hornets fans. The Pistons, unlike the Wizards, are in the stage of a rebuild where you just want to see competent basketball again, and they just paid Monty out the ass to do what seems to be nothing. The Bulls are just a directionless team, kind of like the Wizards of years past.

[–] neurotido@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I don’t feel bad for the Pistons at all, I feel like they have the pieces, just need development and experience. The bulls on the other hand…

[–] ej271828@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

wizards. built to suck

[–] jfktruther@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Dillon brooks not being a major distraction or locker room cancer in Houston is another lame thing for Memphis

[–] Over-Iron9386@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I feel bad for jazz and the wizards

[–] crillup@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Blazers. Scoot hasn’t shown hof potential in 6 games and Sharpe may not win most improved player at this rate

[–] Recent-Curve7616@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Clippers still have a shot at winning
