Embiid gets 3.4 FTs a game on 8.6 drives a game.
SGA gets 3.0 FTs a game on 21 drives a game.

Weird how SGA's game is the exact same as last year, yet his foul calls plummeted
There’s less people packed in the paint to foul him when playing OKC because their perimeter shooters have improved
It def is a little of that, but he's also night to night just not getting the same whistle. Is what it is, and should even out a bit over the season.
He's getting fouled on almost every drive, they just straight up aren't calling them
Dude could average 35 a night on high efficiency with the middy/drive game. In this day and age that’s wild to see. SGA averages more drives per game than anyone in the last 10+ years by far
Ja Morant...
Same with Luka
Its because they normally try to make the shot instead of pure theatrics
Nah Luka definitely foul baits he just isn’t getting it called anymore this year. Although idk if it’s rly baiting since he’s getting hacked everytime he drives
Refs obviously trained their "anti-flop" measures on some of the big offenders from last year. Its obvious if you watched him last year vs now that the same exact drives that make contact are now no-calls
Drives per game isn't a good stat to determine this sort of thing. They always come up but drives aren't very high up on the list of plays likely to lead to FTs.
The highest are things like put-backs, lobs, post-ups, and dunks (you're standing under the basket and someone passes to you). So yeah big physical players/teams tend to be higher in these and get more FTs despite not driving as much.
People really wake up and the first thing on their mind is Joel Embiid shooting FTs. Y’all are some world class haters
People like you really wake up and get triggered by literal stats
Embiid uses his size, strength and athleticism to bully his way to the rim and gets fouled a lot. News at 11.
More interesting to me JJJ, I didn't realize his game included driving to the rim so much.
Gordon Hayward is another interesting one.
Apparently SGA just doesn’t get fouled anymore despite leading the league in drives by a mile
Cam’s sample size is much smaller bc he got injured but he’s genuinely an insane talent at getting to the line. Did it last year too.
Can’t wait for him to get back from injury man…
I just feel like it isn’t gonna ever happen for him for real. Just a gut feeling
What do you mean😰
I'm curious on Luka's stats this season
Saw Embiid against my Cavs. The dude is an absolute troll!
Should name him big baby embiid wind blows and the man is hitting the floor
This sub cannot help themselves, lol. Sometimes they cannot even wait for something to happen the haters just post a random "Embiid haters gather here" post.
r/NFL doesn't even hate Watson this much.
What I don’t like is he flails too much. A little contact then he goes flying into the stands
I wonder how bad Lebron’s fouls per drive are compared to embiid
Embiid plays disgusting terrible basketball
Where are you sourcing this from?
I want to because LeBron has always been dramatically under statistically on how many free throws he should be shooting by those metrics.
And that's why he always flames out in the 2nd round in the playoffs. Those calls don't get rewarded in the playoffs even for MVPs.
Ok i dont have anything to say to defend this one so thats my foul baiting goat right there
It’s unbelievable that his bullshit run into the defender and throw up (what is not really) a shot works. This league is a joke in so many ways but I still love it.
Cause you can’t stop him! Too big too fast or he will shoot it over you
Cause thats literally the only way to stop embiid lol
He’s such a whiner as well.
What's strange is, people call out and think of LeBron as some flopping foul merchant, but instead his free throw rate shows that he needs to flop more, since refs are blind. Teams challenge refs to call a foul, instead of trying to defend legally.
That’s what winning an mvp does to someone. Embiid has always been a flopper but this season is at a new level and he’s getting every flop
Fix this shit
That's why he's the MVP. You can't stop him (Unless you are Al Horford...SMH)
Embiid is an all time foul merchant. Historic
They need to do something about this. Guy flops on almost every shot.
I wonder what Harden's stats were. Google searches show prime Harden drawing 11.5% on his 3 PA in 2019, but don't show his total drawn foul % on drives.
Watch the games. If the opponent didn’t throw three bodies on him every time he touches the ball in the paint, he would be hitting on 80+% of those shots. It’s the only way to prevent giving him a free layup every time down the court
I cannot believe for a second that Giannis only draws fouls on 1 in 9 drives. Wonder where this data comes from.
This data seems wrong honestly
sixers fans questioning the data and pointing at other players instead of realizing their dudes a boring foul merchant
Embiid gets fouls on entry passes lol. Giannis gets them mostly on drives. They both draw a similarly insane amount of fouls. Surely an eastern conference fan is aware of this.
If Giannis had the same whistle Embiid has. The average NBA game would take 25 minutes longer and he taking 30 FT a game.
