And he's doing all that with only 2.5 turnovers per game. He's currently leading the NBA in assists per game and 8th in TS%. He's 2nd in the league in offensive EPM only slightly behind Jokic. What a player

Hali continues to go off. He had a very uncharacteristically bad night from the FT night shooting 8/12. He was shooting 91.5% from the FT line entering this game

Scottie Barnes and Jalen Suggs have made considerable improvements in their games this season. Evan Mobley has been consistently good since day 1. Even Jalen Green has seemingly turned the corner after a rough start to the season. And all of them are doing it on pretty decent teams. Meanwhile Cade is looking like he regressed from his rookie season, playing on the worst team in the league. Is he the worst of the bunch right now?

This is the 2nd least efficient 30pt game in his career. The least efficient is a game in 2012 where he scored 35pts on 11/34 FG against the Lakers.

The Pistons are awful. They aren't even bad with purpose right now. Lineups don't make sense. Positions players are being put in don't make sense. It's just a complete and total mess.

Sometimes teams are bad. It happens. And it's often with purpose. Spurs are also bad, but they are trying to figure out what they have. Pistons just seem to show up, do the same stuff, lose and repeat the process.

Being bad without purpose is just wasting a season.

Pistons are currently down 31 and about to lose their 15th in a row.

Here are the 25 players who have been blocked the most so far this season

He looked like he wanted to be literally anywhere else. Dude has completely checked out of the Bulls. Passed up multiple good looks, bad body language. Bulls lose by 27

People put cream cheese in their pizza crust or drizzle honey on their pizza but draw the line at ketchup. I dont get it

Despite the Hawks being on coach #3 of the Trae Young era, it's seemingly more of the same mediocrity they've had in recent years. Currently the Hawks have the #2 offense in the league but also the #24 defense and an 8-8 record.

Excluding Canada which basically has the same development system as America, why is the rest of the world not producing any good guards? All the good international players are 6'8+. Luka, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, Siakam, Sabonis, Markannen, Porzingis, Sengun, Gobert etc. Meanwhile who is the best small international player? Dennis Schroder? Kind of an interesting discrepancy

There are between 6-8 front court All Stars so who are the other 2-4 that will get in? Jaren Jackson Jr and Lauri Markannen were on the teams last year but their teams have been trash this year so I doubt they make it.

Some names

Kawhi

PG

KAT

Gobert

Zion

BI

Sabonis

Sengun

Chet

Assuming everyone keeps their early season play up who do you think would get in?

Lamelo is extremely smooth when he's dribbling. Its like he glides around the court

Jalen Green looks awful still

The problem with paying big bucks for high-quality role players you need your actual stars to be SUPERstars. And this is double so when you're investing $77m into two defense first guys like Gobert/McDaniels. You need superstar offensive production from Ant/KAT because there will no other great offensive pieces to surround them with when you have that much cap tied up to 4 players.

Problem is Ant and KAT are not superstars. Ant can probably get there in due time, but KAT? He's 27 years old and not even a top 25 player.

RJ Barrett was a mediocre athlete and didn't have the finesse or shiftiness to make up for it. He just looked clunky as fuck. He had no right hand. He was shooting 30% from 3 and 66% from the FT line. And the worst part was this dude was jacking up shots like there was no tomorrow even with Zion on his team. I had no idea how he was projected to be a star.

2018 LeBron > 2023 Jokic > 2009 Kobe > 2014 KD > 2021 Giannis > 2018 Harden > 2013 PG

Why is PG on this list lol

Prime Melo today would not be a top 10 player or maybe even not top 15. Prime Harden today would be top 3. Come on its not close
