A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

I like warmer tones, with lower clarity for a nice dreamy soft look, but sometimes cooler tones give a nice harsh feeling (:

90% of the time I try to be as realistic as possible, so go for as pure of accuracy as possible: with exception made for increasing bokah/lens blur to accent subject.

I am just getting into accenting a single color for photographs: usually live concerts, but some candids in unique setting (like a boxer walking to the ring where I made everything BW except for the color red which matched his gloves and the posts of the ring)

I like bright colors and sharp edges. Always twist yellow, green and blue. In my opinion, pictures became more dynamic.

In b&w photos I prefer to twist shadows and to add more black spots.

I love green in the shadows, slightly underexposed with some grain
