Thank you Sixers!

77-5 is still on the menu :(

[–] Embarrassed_Hold_901@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Goes to show you how much we miss Jdub. We need him back over the next few games, if not it’s going to be real tough for us

[–] __Zoom123__@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Tyrese Maxey shot 8-17 which is also Josh Giddeys preferred age range

[–] rumblegod@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think Cason should come off the bench again

[–] Aggressive_Slice4620@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Embiid looks better than last year which is crazy. Last year when we to trap him and we were able to either make him take an ill advised shot or turn it over. We weren't able to do it anymore, he,'s a better playmaker and knows how to use his skillsets. He'll shoot a middey if we try to sag off when we prepare for a post up. If we don't sag off he'll just go to the rim to score or get the foul.

[–] VoidMageZero@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

He still took some bad shots when he could have passed to an open teammate, so there is still room for even more improvement. Also we could use another ballhandler or Maxey is gonna die before the playoffs lol. Sixer fans will kill me but I would take Giddey from you guys if you want to move him.

[–] Fun_Competition7154@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Maybe we wait a little while before asking for Kiddey

[–] VoidMageZero@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Hey if they wanna sell for cheap right now because of the scandal, happy to take a good deal lol.

[–] SSJAbh1nav@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Fs man, he's become a much more well rounded player, whilst still being a dominant scorer.

[–] cheeseburgerpillow@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Averaging >6 Assists per game, closing in on top 10 in the league, which is an absolute unheard of skill that certainly no other specific Center in the league could possibly be doing at the same time because that would just be ridiculous.

[–] Krillin113@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Because he has a proper coach and the rest of the team doesn’t just stand still

Not A Rookie P2: This Guy's Pretty Good Too

[–] yccbarry@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

One of the ugliest game we’ve played this year. We didn’t play well and with how one sided the foul calls were before the last 4 min of the fourth quarter the fact that we even had a shot at winning the game is incredible.

Also I didn’t really know why sixers always disappoint in the playoffs but if this is how they play/win then I think I know why lol, Morey ball lives on.

[–] Slim-Ticket@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Chet is so damn good. MN boy, can't wait to see him play at his hometown next week!! Hope he gets lots of cheers

[–] Josheshua@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Well that was certainly a basketball game

[–] T4hunderb0lt@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Chet is miles ahead of any other rookie in the league.

[–] sansan6@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Not even trying to hate but a year in the league before you play will do that to you

[–] UC_DiscExchange@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He looks ahead of sophmores as well

[–] Long-Furby@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Chet is terrifying

[–] rascaltippinglmao@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

21 free throws for Flop God

[–] BrightGreenLED@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Bunch of intentional fouls to close out. Try actually watching the game instead of the box score.

[–] Ant1_4life@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] BrightGreenLED@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Maybe if the thunder didn't intentionally foul him to close out the game, it would have been less. Try watching the game instead of the box score.

Tobias Harris quietly putting together a really good season so far.

[–] SoKrat3s@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Good third option and he's no longer a stand in the corner guy

[–] TakenakaHanbei@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I want to send Doc to the gulags so badly rn.

[–] -vinay@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Given OG might make close to 40MM/year on his next contract, that Tobias does finally seem to be fair value

[–] JakeBr0Chill@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

45 FTs for Philly is wild.

[–] cathar98@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It’s gonna be a huge mark of shame on the league that Giddey was allowed to play in this game.

It will be 2047 and Batum will still be going 4-7FG and 2-4 on 3’s.

[–] BrolysOnlyFans@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Josh Giddey -13, just like his women

[–] Electrical-Beat-2232@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This joke is so tired.

[–] CartoonOG@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Omfg he actually went under 17.5, that’s hilarious

[–] foohjie@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Thunder dont fck it up again with the young future MVPs u got 😂

[–] Luck_Top@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

We are all Philly fans in this blessed day

[–] Lol69HaHaHa@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Well no shit they are gonna win when Embid gets so many free throws. Like how the hell do they have 20 more free throws in a game. Like what the hell is with that.

[–] flappypancaker@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

HOW IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT PHILLY SHOOTING 45 GODDAMN FREE THROWS

55% of Empleads points came from the line, and shot 44% from the field…any decent player in the league would average 30 with his whistle

[–] Blast_OGK@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

nobody’s talking about it because they actually watched the game lol 14 of phillys freethrows were from the last 90 seconds on intentional fouls

The OKC Thunder as a franchise is just the right age for Josh Giddey.

[–] penguin_torpedo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I didn't watch the game, how was Chet guarding Embiid tn?

[–] MonkeyPoopingBanana@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

How can anyone watch this 7 footer flop and get 21 FTA? It’s become unbearable

Chet played so well that I've barely seen any underage jokes in this thread. All the comments are "Chet is crazy" or whatever instead of...you know.

[–] robocopfrommars@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Beat the case on the court.

  • Dave Chapelle

(Or have someone else beats the case on the court for you)

[–] Genestah@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I was expecting Chet to be real good on his debut season.

But didn't expect him to be this good.

Future superstar in the making.

[–] DukeSi1v3r@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That might’ve been the most one sided officiating I’ve ever seen. I’m a neutral fan who was at the game so maybe my perception was skewed towards the Thunder but it seemed like every call went the 6ers way
