Basically, the title

Point Guards are balling this season

You have Superstars Luka, Steph, and SGA still competing for All Nba First Team PG Spot.

Fox has been great. And the two Tyrese (Haliburton and Maxey) are having a breakout season.

Not to mention Lamelo, Trae, and even Dame who are all having 20 ppg + seasons.

Brunson, Cade, and Kyrie are good too.

(For other Positions There are usually 2 Superstars, and then a gap after that)

So, is the PG the most talented position this season?

Closest is PF (Giannis, KD, AD, PG, Zion) but still PG have more quality players. (Yes, KD and PG are playing PF Now)

No way nephew.

09-10.

Denver Chauncey Billups. -finals mvp

Mavs Jason Kidd - good enough to be a major contributor in a championship team soon after.

Spurs still prime-ish Tony Parker.

Celtics Rondo dropping insane ass playoff stats, including 44 points against Heat soon after this year.

Suns Nash with 2 MVPs

Bulls Derek Rose pre ankle injury and soon to be MVP

Utah Deron Williams who 50/50 people thought was better than Chris Paul

New Orleans prime Chris Paul

OKC athletic peak Westbrook.

Not. Even. Fucking. Close.

It’s funny how you say and then you even have Trae and Dame like it’s some kind of rarity. And then you put sga in the superstar category but not Trae or dame when both are way more accomplished and have been doing it for a lot longer. But yeah PG play is at an all time high right now.

Past accomplishments have nothing to do with how good a player is now.

Yeah but when a guy says “even Trae and Dame are 20+ point scorers” like this is the first year that they’ve done it then it means something . Especially when you’re talking about 2 of the best offensive guards in the league that are right now averaging 25+ and for their career are averaging 25+ it’s stupid

Not only for superstars. OKC have multiple players that can play point guard

SGA, Giddey, Cason, Micic, Mann, and even JDub can play the point

AD is listed at C for the lakers this season. I think that makes center qualify to be considered:

Two superstars: Embiid and Jokic

Three All Stars: AD, Bam, and Sabonis

Upper level role players: Sengun, Lopez, Allen, Vuc, Turner, Tingus, Gobert

Chet Holmgren should be mentioned too. Dude is playing like a low tier all-star, maybe mid tier

NBA is made up of ball handlers, wings, and bigs now

PG is less of a floor general now, the positions are fluid. It’s fantastic.

It's been like this for the past ten years

Is Lebron not playing PF while AD is at Center? I would’ve thought he switched over given his age.
