Funny, the issue he has with these is one of the reasons I like the originals. I appreciate them not invading deep into my ear canals, I don't always want that. Weirdly I seem to be more fatigued by bass than treble, so I don't really notice the issue he talks about as a result of the shallow nozzle depth.

Of the 4 cheap IEM's I own, if I'm going on comfort the Zero's despite the weird shape win for me hands down. I think the shallow depth is part of that. The other reason is these don't have a stupid lip towards the top of the shell that others (Hola and QKZ x HBB, even Waner to a small extent) have. Seriously why do they have this lip? It's like with those ones they have tried to mould the shell to the inside of an ear, and it just doesn't work for me and instead creates a pressure point.

They are very comfortable and easy to fit but walking with them is awful due to the thump. And also the 12k peak measured on the original with the new rig is real. I told y'all.

The issue: It doesn't have Zero Two on the box

I love when they put cute waifus on the box

I totally understand that a reviewer should assess the item with the stock accessories. But as an IEM enthusiast, it's a bit sad to see the lack of tip-rolling coverage from mainstream reviewers.

The shallowness is usually pretty easy to fix if you have eartips with a longer stem, such as AZLA SendaEarfit originals and final type E, with these, you can tweak the insertion depth and play with your canal resonances to find a sort of sweet spot and it may improve a lot your experience and fit.

i have the exact same issue with the fit, after a while they tend to slide out, other than that solid sound.

Only used the first itiration and was a bit disappointed they didnt extend the nozlles or ake off a little of that inner sheel to make them go further in the ear.

I wont buy the second version due to this, Salnotes really did NOT listened to the complaints, most of them were fit issues and not bass.

i think at some point they may have the plan to change the ear tips zero:2 with S&S Eartips but they ditch it for unknow reason, Now we have the original ear tips

they did listened to the complaints tho, they fix the too "bright", adding more bass cause why not

i like the eartips colour schemes, i have a bag full of S&S tips , i like them

Still not avaialble for purchase...

TL:DR - Sounds good, but insertion is too shallow for him, cant wear them comfortably.
