Should just be a non call like so many others

Giannis steps on his foot. Think of it like a blocking foul where the defense moves and disrupts the offense through some sort of contact without having an established position.

You act like Walker stepped under Giannis’s foot lmfao. I think the defender is entitled to have his feet on the floor.

I just don't get that if Jabari's foot is there first, how can Jabari's position not be established? If Giannis' foot isn't there yet, and he initiates the contact with Jabari who is there first, how can this be a foul?? If anything, this should a non-call since neither player really has position, even though I think Jabari is there first..

By that logic a defender could just jump in front of the offensive player because he'd be there first. It's called a blocking foul. He's swiping for the ball which is why his foot is there, but he's not in a set defensive position.
