2000 Shaq comes here in a time machine and he’s coming to kill you. You can’t use a gun or a knife but you can pick one current player to protect you. Who are you picking?

James Johnson was a black belt in karate. So maybe him? Or whoever has done MMA training on the side.

[–] CitizenSnippps@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I would send Steph or Klay just so Donkey would go protect them and he would finally get completely flattened

[–] cosi_bloggs@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I'd time machine Terry Cummings.

[–] donaldrabbit1@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

his clone :-) if time machines exist then also clones exist :-P

[–] UhMobSquad4209@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Gotta go with Steven Adams, I don’t think there’s many other modern day players who could even come close to matching shaqs strength

Nurk's dad maybe.

Boban? He’s at least not gonna get completely destroyed by size and he almost killed John Wick.

[–] orphan_tears_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Draymond Green has the best nut kick in the league

[–] OutsideTheServiceBox@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

This comment made me realize that between his size, agility, mic presence, and general personality, Draymond could probably be a great WWE heel.

[–] orphan_tears_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Him and Dillon Brooks basically already are NBA heels

[–] DustMonsterXIV@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Nate Robinson.

Y'all never heard of David vs Goliath?

[–] Uniqlo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nate got flatlined by Jake Paul. Prime Shaq would break him in half.

[–] irespectwomenlol@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Raymond felton. Because he'd eat his opponent.

[–] Robinsonirish@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Draymond Green has shown he has a mean sucker punch. Considering 99% of the fights we've seen of NBA players throwing punches look terrible, including Shaq, I think Draymond actually has some experience hitting a bag.

His punch on Poole was vicious, fast and came out of nowhere.

Draymond Green

6-6, 230lb (198cm, 104kg)

Shaq

7-1, 325lb (216cm, 147kg)

Shaq does have a big reach and weight advantage. Draymond has him beaten on speed.

If it was MMA or no rules, Shaq could just flatten him, GnP. If it was boxing rules I could see Draymond putting up a fight and steal a KO ala Mike Tyson.

[–] Goatbeerdog@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Thats a mosquito bite on Shaq

[–] Robinsonirish@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Well, I do think there is some diminishing returns on knockout power. Once you're a heavyweight people are going to get knocked out no matter what.

I don't think Shaq could take a punch from Draymond any more than Draymond could take a punch from Shaq. If either connects they're getting KOd. Draymond does look like he can handle himself in a fight in contrast to 99% of NBA players who look like they're on ice-skates everytime they start throwing punches.

With that said, I'm not saying I'd favour Draymond, especially if Shaq is allowed to wrestle him to the ground and smash.

I mean Charles Barkley did a pretty good job. So probably Zion big ass

[–] Bodybuilding-@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I was going to say... give Zion a year of training and I'd give him a chance. But prime Shaq is still prime Shaq.

[–] MAMBAMENTALITY8-24@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Max kellerman said it best....i want IGUODALA

[–] DoughNutSack@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Sim Bhullar

[–] yic0@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I choose JT Thor, because his last name is Thor.

Hopefully he can fight like Thor.

[–] twonicelol@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nah I got it no worries

If you watch him move guys around in the post, the answer is Jokic.

[–] peaudunk@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Also, water polo players know how to fight dirty and fight when you can't breathe.

Come on, guys. No one. Prime Shaq weighed over 400 pounds. Anyone who thinks someone like Steven Adams matches up with him clearly never watched Shaq play.

[–] LotharBot@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I'm taking Jokic

s brothers.

[–] Material_Unit4309@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

James Johnson. Miss me with that Steven Adams garbage. Strongest toughest guy in The NBA who can’t stay healthy to play half a season.

[–] Wonderful-Dress5391@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Zach Randolph or Anthony Mason

[–] solo118@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I would just like to see him throwing small point guards around like they are footballs

Honestly I am not sure, but Zion, Steven Adams come to mind

[–] NotAn0pinion@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I can’t use a gun? I pick Ja with his gun

[–] Educational-Pin-1019@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago
[–] kmrobert_son@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

An NFL tight end maybe?

[–] yetagainitry@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

None of the currents could beat him in the paint. The best option would be a steph curry. Just keep shooting threes and you'll outscore the two's shaq will get.

[–] hamalll@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Paul Pierce. He will shit and won the fight.

[–] MH18Foot@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Metta World Peace

(Ron Artest to you and me)

[–] AkronIBM@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Well, he hasn't been signed this year, but I'm still picking James "Bloodsport" Johnson, black belt competitive karate and MMA fighter. I'm fairly convinced Johnson would tear prime Shaq apart despite the weight disadvantage.

[–] Aloha1984@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Chris Paul or Kyle Lowry. Their asscheeks will distract Shaq into lovemaking and leave me alone.

[–] TurbulentJudge1000@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Zion Williamson is a big dude. I’ll take Zion. It’s either him or Steven Adams.

[–] Echodad@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

My kid used to train at a MMA gym in Scottsdale and saw Bismack Biyombo training multiple times. Hitting pads is different than fighting but if dude connects with a punch or kick someone going down.

[–] downinCarolina@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Idk Barkley told shaq right to his face that he’s not a good fighter and shut shaq up so I think he’s self aware of his deficiencies. So I’m taking just about anyone.
