He may have been diagnosed with something severe or life threatening. This is what every human does when faced with death... Or maybe he's just bored with all the stupidity that that idiotic show and a professional sports team may produce.

Mark Cuban didn't found Broadcast.com. He invested in it. Then took it over from the true founder. He sold it to Yahoo for $5.7 billion.
Adelson was named the publisher of Israel Hayom, the most widely read newspaper in Israel, in 2018, a position she still holds.She is also a voting member on the board of trustees at the University of Southern California. Adelson is currently in the process of becoming majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks, after an agreement to buy the team for $3.5 billion from Mark Cuban, who would retain an ownership stake and managment of the organization.
She has written that Trump "should enjoy sweeping support" among U.S. Jews and Israelis, and that Trump deserves a "Book of Trump" in the Bible due to his support for Israel

Just what this country needs another billionaire in power. I can't wait for the sweeping changes in the material conditions for the working class "nice" guy cuban might propose.
I guess we are just removing the middle man now and giving the keys right to those who've been paying our politicians off rather than putting systems in place to stop the corruption and purchasing of our democracy. But I forgot..money is the only virtue in America it seems.
That was my first thought. Didn't he mention something during the last presidential cycle about it? Like, not now, or timing didn't work out (with ballot qualifications I assume), or something like that?

Yea there’s no other explanation. He literally LOVES both those things. And nothing outside of becoming a political figure prevents him from continuing to be on TV and be a primary professional sports owner. And he’s gonna fund his own way.

He literally just spoke about Shark Tank on All the Smoke as if everything was normal?
Well the Shark Tank reputation has been tanking in recent years, with all their stars getting involved in all sorts of shady deals around crypto, real estate and training dealings outside of the show.
Kevin O' leary for example advocated for Bankman Fried all the way to his prison cell, and a number of his crypto companies like WonderFi(branded to his moniker) had Bankman's backing before hiding it after Sam got exposed.
Some sharks ran real estate "camps" with false adverstising where it was implied they would be there, but they never turned up etc.
List goes on, but it was smart of Cuban to jump off the sinking ship.

Local rumors are gambling is about to be legal in Texas (no citation so apologies). It’s either he wants to build the first casino/maybe arena or yeah… run for office
Rockets owner has multiple Casinos, and has been lobbying to legalize gambling in Texas for years. He wants to build a Casino by the water in Galveston.
Massive gambler Mattress Mack from Houston, and interests in Oklahoma, and Louisiana are lobbying against it.

Today I learned that Mark Cuban's real last name was "Chabenisky". His grandfather changed it. His maternal grandparents were Romanian Jewish .
Miriam Adelson who Chabenisky is selling to was born Miriam Farbstein. She is the richest Israeli in the world.

The cool thing is that he’ll stay on to run operations. That is awesome. He clearly loves the game and the team. No other reason he’d do that except for loving the game.
