Just upgraded from the steelseries arctis nova pro to the beyer DT1990 pro's and holy f am I amazed.

after swapping to the alternate pads & toying with EQ these things are ultra comfortable & sound so so good, It feels like I am so close to the vocals & instruments.

Dude, buy dekoni elite velour pads. They enhance both, sound quality and comfort. There are no downsides.

They are pretty great, but for the EQ, you might want to use autoeq.app and set the profile to Harman Over-ear or their Autoeq profile. The highs on the DT 1990s can be quite aggressive

I agree dt 1990 is a headphone hard to beat from an overall view and comfort is just amazing
