I am thinking about building a Facebook campaign for SignalZen and of course want to be profitable with it. It seems every marketing guru online says they make millions with them. But everybody I actually talk to said they couldn’t get it to work for them.

Are Facebook ads too over-priced to scale with?

I'd focus your effort on Google Search Ads over Facebook Ads. Your solution seems to be a service that people would google, get SEMRush and check out what kind of search queries people have for AI-enabled customer service.

for b2b, I would try linkedin, or google ads and other strategies, facebook is not so good for this

FB ads do work but are not optimal for B2B solution like yours

Look to emails, LI, or Google ads

I'd put up a specific landing page, where you offer to demo, and on-board potential new clients.

I'm not sure what your stick rate, or your ascension rates are, but if you're at $50 a month, and you're keeping a client for a year, you can easily spend $500 to acquire a customer and still be profitable.

That's how you have to look at this. The cost is going to be high up front, but maybe you can acquire customers that work for you over the long term.

You're not going to pay $10 to acquire a $25 a month client, that's just not realistic... especially with such a specialized service.

For generating profitable ROI, Google ads and LinkedIn ads will work for you.

To create brand awareness, getting leads, driving traffic to your website, you can try Facebook ads.

With Facebook ads, you can also upload your existing clients' details, create a look alike campaign and generate leads with Facebook ads.

All in all, having your presence at multiple places online will help you get those touchpoints, get in front of maximum people which will eventually get you a positive ROI directly as well as indirectly.
