"No, honey we have superfluids at home."

The superfluid at home: A grainy still image of superfluid helium

All fluids are super.

~Who’s a super fluid? That’s right, you are! Super fluid! Now sit. Stay~

[–] RiceMunk@sopuli.xyz 4 points 2 weeks ago

It's such a sorry state of things in the modern world that every fluid gets declared super just for participating.

Super participation trophies smh

Would that be double D cup?

Anyone know if that adapter is compatible with my AC-1200 Wifi Einstein-Rosen bridge?

[–] MeatPilot@lemmy.world 15 points 2 weeks ago

You need a dark matter to ethernet cable to stabilize the connection first. I got mine off AliExpress.

Are you trying to convert from Rosen to Einstein to Bose to HDMI? I'm pretty sure you'll lost a ton of signal quality from that many conversions.

It will match at Layer 0 but not at Layer 1.
Some DIY would be required.

Oof. Well, I'll keep shopping then. Looking for something a little more plug-and-play than that.

Oh great! Yet another HDMI standard forcing me to upgrade.

[–] joyjoy@lemmy.zip 14 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I hope the $5-10 thousand annual licensing fee was worth it to add HDMI when DisplayPort is literally right there.

Reminds me of Sliders.

Reminds me that if the Sliders found their way home recently they'd think they had stumbled upon yet another fascist alternative earth and continue looking.

I wish I could join them at this point. Only $20, huh?

Everytime someone mentions this show, I can't help but hear the title in the breathy, whispered voice they used between commercials.

Give it a pass. The strange matter dongles are due out by new year and they're not compatible with exotic matter.

That is before tax.
You might have to consider interstate duties.

They never have the Thunderbolt version in stock…
