A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Is there a good software aside from Lightroom and Capture One?

EOS utility. I also played around with capture one on ipad lately, but i dont think i will continue the subscription, until they release live view on it, which it currently lacks and kinda ruins the whole thing for me. They are working on live view for it, but no idea when it will be released, once they do ill switch to using it more.

EOS Utility or PhotoMechanic

I work at several commercial studios, capture one is the industry standard. I’d recommend using it unless you shoot Hassleblad, which needs Phocus. Phocus can also be used with other cameras but capture is way better imo.

Capture One or whatever proprietary software the camera requires like Phocus (ugh).
