his defensive improvement is the best thing i’ve seen from this team all season
I always had the impression that he was a great defender, was he a good defender before now he’s a great one?
The way he has been used this season compared to last year is the biggest difference. He was guarding guards way to much last year now he has been put on more forwards and has had more chance as a weak side rim protector which is one of his best skills.
He is also moving his feet on the perimeter a lot better and is better at when to pressure and when to not.

Scottie was clutch today. Ice in his veins at the end. Best player on the floor and tail end of a B2B.
4th q Barnes is actually real this dude came in and said "we winning this bitch"

You can really see his impact on both ends
I just wait the other 3 quarters of the game for the scrubs to do their thing. Then…. when it’s all on the line, Sct Brn comes in and wins the game for them.
I honestly can’t wait until they trade away Siakam or OG and give their touches to Barnes. Love to see him running more post ups on set plays for him. Nobody can stop him in close.
