Anyone else thinking this can only be a bad thing? Maybe a loyalty test to try and purge any of the leadership deemed “disloyal”? We can only hope our top brass remember Oath to defend the CONSTITUTION against all enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC. Stay vigilant!

Hundreds of generals and admirals in one location? I'm sorry, what?

Yeah... Might want to call out sick that day.

As The Atlantic reported just the other day, Trump is rushing everyone to accelerate their Russian plan toward authoritarianism because the bottom is beginning to fall out.

Definitely a meeting where you'd want to sit close to the exit.

I'm guessing loyalty test with a possible consolidation of thought towards the Americas rather than Asia and Europe. What in the Americas is so urgent? I guess drugs but that's seems more a US problem than Latin America but they can posture more cheaply in closer waters. Any excuse to have an enemy but not one too expensive and dangerous to maintain position against

I think Trump and Hesgeth care most about image and an aggressive position in Europe or Asia is increasingly risky. I don't think either want to be the ones in charge when a carrier is destroyed and instead of 4000 American soldiers dead in 20 years, it's 4000 in a single day and numerous of those day

It won't be Mexico, they will go further south that way drama doesn't spill into US.

My guess is Hegseth is going to wake up tomorrow and the first thought in his head will be, "Oh vodka. What did you make me do this time?"
