Without elections popularity is irrelevant, and these people are well aware of that.

I think popularity remains relevant regardless of how much democratic backsliding happens. Whether popular will expresses itself through an election or some other means people will find an outlet.

It doesn’t matter. By midterms they will put a lot of ice agents near voting stations, and end mail vote. So if you look liberal they will say you look foreign and hold you until the end of elections. Other people will see this and be afraid to go and vote.

They're also pretty stupid, what if everyone who looks liberal just wore a shitty Maga shirt for the day, or whatever.

My local MAGA/LGB store went under, now what do I do?

Make one and spell it a little wrong

He's gonna stroke out well before the midterms, and the power vacuum is going to tear apart the GOP. It'll be hilarious.

the breasts that gave them sucke

Ironically to this being a shitfest of a regime i have always loathed how elections are a popularity contest.

Good social and connecting skills can be important but they will never be more important than a healthy intelligence and a passion to simply do good, build a good society for all.

Yep. And now imagine what will happen when he drops out, which he will relatively soon because of mental and physical decline.

I had this weird premonition/dream that Trump nuked the US.

Literally or Figuratively? Cause I'd argue he's currently doing one in real time.

[–] F_State@midwest.social 1 points 2 days ago

Well, they gathered together all of the most awful people they could find. Unsurprising that they're not popular. It's why they have to resort to things like political theater and culture wars to win elections.

[–] SoloCritical@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Clearly they are if they’re in charge..

Dem voters : 'oh, we're winning? Then lemme just find another excuse to sit it out again. My favorite sitcom is on, the other voters got this!'

[–] reddifuge@lemmy.world -1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Really misleading news source. That poll ia so flawed.

I hate Donald Shitler but the reality is his approval rating is at about 43-52% based on accurate polls.

Spreading false information doesn't help us.

[–] Seleni@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yup. The needle hasn’t moved from around 40-45% support since he took office in pretty much all the polls. Sooo many Trumpers in the country around me and they’re still cheering him on with brass bands. Hell, just drove by a bunch of them the other day holding a ‘Thank You Kennedy!’ cheerfest.

This is just a copium article for us people on the left.

[–] reddifuge@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Trump actually has higher approval ratings now than in his first term.

Conservatives love hate.
