Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

Good news, everyone! EA are still going to be profiteering shitbags who nickle and dime customers with season passes and loot boxes for content that already exists in the code.
I've been boycotting them since before Battlefront 3 and I'm not stopping now

EA has no values, because they're a soulless, shit hole company, so they're not lying (this time), I guess.
I wouldn't trust EA not to skip a chance to lie. They're probably going to make their "values" even more subhuman.
Thats not a good sign. I'm choosing to take that as EAs values were already so bad that nothing is going to change after being taken over by a trump Saudi investment firm.

Phew, I was worried there for a sec I might have to credit SA or a fucking Kushner for fixing one of the shittiest publishers in gaming, nice to know they can remain on “pirate if it looks good” list.

You'll play your Muscle Man Beats Up The Evil Foreigners game, you'll pay top dollar for it, and if you're lucky you'll get a loot box with a Trump/MBS NFT in it.
It's fitting that EA now belongs to a despotic regime and the spoiled son-in-law of a despot. It couldn't be more telling.
I won't be buying anything from them anymore.

That's true, but now it's also autocrat slop, which in my opinion disqualifies this company once and for all.
The thing is EA is supposedly one of the most stable and most high-benefit positions in the industry.

My 11+ year old boycott of EA is looking smarter & smarter every day.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty stoked for Battlefield 6. Haven't played one since 3 and all my friends were gonna get it. Guess I'll just go fuck myself and keeping playing Overwatch or something.
I was stoked for BF6 until it wanted me to enable Secure Boot and install rootkit anti-cheat. Now with the Saudis and Jared Kushner in charge installing a rootkit to play a game is an even worse idea. Maybe if I only used the computer for gaming.
I played the beta weekends. I can assure you anything fun will be nerfed, because all the fun stuff was what the sweaty basement boys were complaining about the most. You're not going to miss out on much of the final product.
I played it too and I 100% agree. However, I feel like it's always a good thing to keep in mind that the best time to play an online shooter is when it first comes out. That way you get to at least have fun before all the casual people move on to other games and the sweaty people are the only ones left. My friends convinced me to try Fortnite just a couple years ago and all that happened was I got stomped every match and was like "this is fun for you guys?" I've been playing Overwatch since release and it's basically impossible to get a match I'd consider "fun," so to speak. I just wanted to get in on the fun for Battlefield before it turned into all sweats. Now I'd prefer to just avoid it all together.

Well, okay then. I doubt that I have any EA games on my roster, but I'll go through and give it a diligent scrubbing, just to be on the safe side.
What a bunch of losers. Battlefield 6 will definitely be my last EA game
I'm not getting it at this point. I was already hesitant as it was the only thing keeping me in Windows 11 but now that it's also coming with Kushner root kits - I'm out.
