Sandy doesn't know. 👀
This was at a different farm lol. My instructor has her own huge property and access to many of the neighboring properties. I planned on going to see Sandy tomorrow, but I don't think that I'm going to be able to move around real well lol. Now I understand why cowboys in cartoons walked all weird lmao
Lol. Sandy is going to have questions about why you're walking so weird. Please let let down easy.
I will make sure she knows she's the best horse on the farm.
The farm hands at the barn walked past me and Sandy the other day and were like, "Oh we love Sandy! She's so smart and pretty!"
Sandy immediately perked up as if she wanted to say, "Hell yeah I am!"
When she exited the trailer the day we moved her, the owner of the farm whistled and said, "That's a fine looking animal for her age!"
For my grandparents’ 50th anniversary a huge group of the family spent a week at a dude ranch in central Oregon. They had a cattle ranch when my dad was a kid and always kind of scoffed at the idea of a dude ranch but everyone had a great time. My mom wanted me to know what I was doing so I had riding lessons for months before we went, and kept it up for a while after. I loved trail riding the most of all of it. It was fun on the East Coast but riding through the desert, canyons, and lava walls on the east side of the Cascade Mountains was really special. That was over 30 years ago but I miss it every time I’m around horses.
That sounds like an awesome time! I'd love to be able to do that someday.
