What's this petition supposed to do at all? Only a lawyer can get the criminal prosecution dismissed by filing and arguing in court....

Yes indeed, it looks more like a visibility campaign

Probably, objects blend into each other

[–] nicetriangle@kbin.social 11 points 2 years ago

Definitely.

  • The third chain link (in front of the bar left of the padlock) has a weird shape
  • The lock isn't actually connected to anything
  • The bar is running through the link to the right of the padlock

mfs too lazy to use the onion smh. yeah it's a little slow but it's the best way to use zlib.

I've heard that the site is still accessible via tor but I'm not sure of the right address.

http://loginzlib2vrak5zzpcocc3ouizykn6k5qecgj2tzlnab5wcbqhembyd.onion

Which one is the good one?

Edit: see answer below

Its available on the open web again, they've made official plugins to help you find it:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/z-library/

There's a chrome equivalent that no one should be using.

About your 3rd sentence, why? (I use FF, I'm just curious)

[–] PolarisFx@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 years ago

Guess you didn't see what google is trying to do now.

https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2023/07/googles-web-integrity-api-sounds-like-drm-for-the-web/

They only get away with this because of their market share of browsers

uh z-lib still works. I download 10 books most days. Never going to be able to read them all. Books 18426 items (16699 files, 1726 folders)
