A retired police officer convicted of murdering four people, including a man he tortured and strangled over stolen drug money, was sentenced Monday to four consecutive life terms in prison.

This is the guy who was Epstein's cell mate.

On November 19, 2019, federal prosecutors in New York indicted MCC guards Michael Thomas and Tova Noel, charging them with multiple counts of falsifying records and conspiracy to falsify records.

The guards are already indicted with falsifying records. What if the cellmate getting moved to a different cell was falsified too.

How hard is it to make a headline along the lines of

this man just got life in prison for strangling someone. He used to be the cellmate of Epstein.

Obfuscation. They can't hide the facts, but they sure can make them too difficult for the average Joe on the street to easily comprehend - and if it ain't easy, then Joe Average ain't bothering.

Coherent headlines are so passe. The new style guidelines are to sound like someone having a stroke on Jeopardy!

'suicide' during suicide watch in a high security prison and several minutes of surveillance footage missing.

Well that was the thing, he was taken off suicide watch.

I think it's somewhat likely Epstein did off himself. But it's also possible someone allowed him to do so, by creating the conditions for it.

Ah okay in the case he was taken off it, indeed. And then they likely also helped with the motivation.

How hard is it to believe that a piece of shit decided to take his own life? Nothing about the story of Epstein changes regardless of how he died but in this case it's hard for me to see why he wouldn't want to kill himself. On top of that a recent piece of evidence indicated that he planned on killing himself. Missing footage is not uncommon and neither is incompetent prison staff. The whole system is outdated and underfunded.

I'm pretty sure that if he was killed that does change things in the story of his life and otherwise
