Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Midterms are happening this year... Expect some major fuckery.
Side with the rioters even when they do something imperfect
We manage to tolerate our far-from-perfect elite class as they steal our wealth and destroy our futures. Why hold protestors to a different standard?
If the alternative isnโt absolutely perfect it is way better to stay with your abusive partner.
This is /s of course, but sometimes it feels like people actually believe this.
I expect morons to stay home whining that Democrats weren't perfect enough and then complain voting doesn't matter when they suffer under Republicans.
Oh boy are you not going to like this, but someone's gotta say it:
The Democrats are just as responsible for this shit show as the Republicans
The US has a two-party system, based on the assumption that the two sides will oppose each other and through that opposition come to a happy/sane medium. I've been watching US politics my entire life (I'm 46) and not once have I ever seen the Democrats do their damned job and oppose the rightward slide.
Biden had the House and the Senate and he knew what was coming. Anyone paying attention knew that Trump or some other fanatic would take the White House again and he did nothing.
Things the Democrats could have done with the power they had:
- Reduce the powers of the president
- Enshrine abortion as a human right
- Abolish ICE
- Medicare for all
- Elevate Puerto Rico and Washington DC to state status, thus guaranteeing Democrat dominance for the foreseeable future.
- Reducing the funding of the military
- Stop supporting Israel already
They did.... none of that. In the case of genocide, they did the opposite and then threatened anti-genocide voters that they'd better fall in line or they'd get... the other genocider. Fuuuuuuck that.
Some of this is strategic. The Democrats will never make it impossible for the Republicans to threaten abortion rights, because it gives them a stick to beat the Republicans with every 2 years. Same goes for Medicare. Some of it is ideological: the Democrats are just as bad as Republicans when it comes to supporting genociders and opposing socialism for example.
"BuT tHe RePuBlIcAnS aRe ObStRuCtIoNiSts!" I hear you say. "They Democrats could never get any of that done with the Republicans blocking everything!" To this I remind you that they had the House, the Senate, and the Presidency and all the powers Trump is unilaterally leveraging to turn your country into a dictatorship.
The Democrats haven't had a leader with conviction since Carter, and every successive generation is more cowardly and disconnected from the people than the next. It certainly doesn't help when people decry the immorality of refusing to vote for a candidate that will do nothing but keep the seat warm for the next Republican.
If the Democrats are unwilling to do their damned job, they should step aside and let someone else do it for them.
It doesn't matter, everyone who didn't vote against Republicans has blood on their hands. You can never, ever get away from personal responsibility for the consequences of your actions. It doesn't wash off. You can take your soapbox with you on the way out.
"People who refused to vote for genocide have blood on their hands" is a weird take, but OK.
They did vote for genocide. Not voting is a vote. There's no way out of it, they're responsible just like republican voters.
There certainly will be morons that stay at home and whine but if you look beyond that you'll see that we had several protests with record breaking turnouts last year. Resistance is growing and there are tens of millions of Americans who aren't staying home.
Resistance is growing and there are tens of millions of Americans who aren't staying home.
Honestly, I can hope, but tens of millions of people in the streets doesn't engender much hope when 90 million stayed home last November and helped put us here.
A ton of the the people who constantly harp on voting not being enough tend to be the same people who don't show up on voting day imo.

Artist is an Indie Game Dev
Whatโs the difference?
Indie game dev you mention?
In the bottom right they mention pre-ordering the, โCatTrigger Horror Collectionโ on Steam.
See? Switching to Apple makes everything worse.
I've thought this comic many times, very glad someone made it.
As we speak, an impressively sized asteroid is heading our way. Normally nothing would happen, but like last time an elon has to get its way. Last time it was elonpatusaurus who used its long neck to attract the end of the dyno. Today we have elon stinkass....err musky who must find some shit on the aforementioned assteroid. Stinkass thinks there's gold or lithium or europium doped with germanium sandwiched in tritium. Whatever it is he must risk all of our lives and futures to get the fucking thing. Ofcourse we can't do anything about it cuz we just live here in his planet. Anyway, just love each other out there.
So, how is therapy going
