Located a few miles from the Salton Sea and adjacent to Slab CIty, this art monument was built by Leonard Knight and is themed around 'the Sinner's Prayer' as well as other Christian motifs.

A pulled out view of an old farm wagon painted over with various Christian related themes, the wheels have flowers painted on them.

A section of Salvation Mountain. Several large trees as well as bunches of flowers are painted on in this section along with 'Love is Universal.' In the bottom of frame, you may see where the paint ends and desert sand begins.

A section of Salvation Mountain, which appears to have a dwelling built into it as many windows may be seen within the painted mound. "God is Love' is painted on a large cube on a flatbed trailer outside of it and many empty paint cans may be seen lining the ground.

Bonus photo from the entrance to Slab City, is this delightful sign proclaiming that the speed limit in Slab City is 2 grams per day!

This was also right where I had multiple back to back interactions with a meth head on an atv where social awkwardness decidedly did not help the situation.

Please come upon my body, huh?

This is weird.

This weird obsession Americans have with religion.

Yeah... It's totally only Americans with weird obsessions with religion...

Hey! Play both blasphemous games and come back to me.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean? I'm familiar with the games, and they are made by a Spanish studio...

We're the only country that has a weird obsession with religion and let women vote.

Give it a few months

I’m pretty sure mental illness and possibly meth were a large driving force in this as well.

Fun fact: Slab city in GTA V is known as Stab City.

The Salton Sea is a very interesting area. I’ve never been to Slab city, though I did visit Bombay beach, which is basically a half abandoned town where artists come and make quirky artwork.

I think it's called Sandy Shores in the game, but Desert Shores is the real place next to the Salton Sea. Pretty wild driving around there. Even have a couple of dune buggies parked in town.

Slab City is a wild place full of makeshift homes and real off-the-grid types. Right next to Niland. I heard they call it Slab City because it used to be an Air Force Base, but they left the cement slabs and even theater seats.

I plainly disagree. To relate all good to god is to be ignorant of all bad, god can either be omnicient and the source of all things or he can be omnibenevolent but you cannot claim both.

God is not love for God's love is conditional. Hail Satan.
