On the Buffverse show 'Angel' Harmony was the dumbest vampire.
At one point she agreed with someone by saying "You're preaching to the horse's mouth."
That phase makes sense if you are the one to originally say something, which is imagine long-living vampires would have to deal with more than usual. Still there are RL examples like that one person who got a rejection for their paper by reviewer two who said they needed to account for the work of [insert name of the researcher who submitted the paper].
I bet this makes perfect sense to a Newfie.
