"Money Laundering The Movie" is getting a mini series, "Money Laundering The Mini Series: The Search For More Money From Bezos".

[–] Aonifall@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

I bet Mel Brooks would be down to making that movie.

These people are delusional

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 day ago

No they aren't. This is a way to solicit a bribe from Bezos and have him write off the losses to the US taxpayer.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

LOL, arrest all of these fuckers. The entire crime family.

[–] TomMasz@piefed.social 5 points 1 day ago

You didn't watch the movie, so here's a series for you not to watch!

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 18 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Optimistic, to expect that both of the people who watched the movie will also stay for a whole series.

No, entirely realistic. She knows for a fact that Amazon never expected to make money from this thing. Of the $75m they spent, over a third of that went directly into her pocket. The documentary is just a vehicle for laundering a bribe.

She's not saying "People want more of my documentary." She's saying "Amazon are going to give me and my husband more money."

I wonder what specific piece of regulatory capture Amazon will be getting in return this time?

This looks like a pay off using a movie as the mechanism.

In Lowersaxony, a northern state of germany, three people was watching the movie, so they stopped showing it. It was hilarious.

Just gonna add something in case anyone gets concerned. Upper Germany refers to the southern Germany due to that being where the Highlands and mountains are, lower Germany refers to the flatlands and coastal regions in the north it also historically included the Benelux region.

Do you mean they stopped the film early, or they cancelled all future screenings?

A spin off the great documentary that has the cosmopolitan charm of an airline advertisment? I'm sitting on hot coals!

Srsly I thought she had slightly more intelligence than her husband, but apparently The Endgame Grift is infectious.

She did marry Donald Trump. I think the grift has been with her from the start.

Huge success in Guantanamo I guess.

More blatant bribery, as she tries to set up a luxury lifestyle after her husband dies

That sort of depends on how her husband dies.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Her journey from insane asylum to chain migration.
