This is all humans
A variant of this phrase seems to comes up in every neurodivergent community thread.
All humans piss, but only those with untreated diabetes piss every half an hour.
It's not just about the action, but the frequency or context of the action as well.
All humans get anxious, but some people are anxious all of the time. At that point it's deemed divergent from what is typical.
All humans get distracted, but some people get distracted considerably easier and more regularly than others.
All humans can focus, but some people will focus for 12h straight without moving to eat or go to the toilet.
Frequency and context matter.
It's not just about the action, but the frequency or context of the action as well.
I'd add the intensity of the action as well.
TIL I'm neurodivergent
Me too
post your raads-r score I'm compiling a scoreboard
I'm retired and I still do this.
Yeah, checks out
Even on a day at home.
Its the light, the noises outside and the possibility that others may ring your doorbell/call you.
I do enjoy a sunny day but the only time i can rest is in darkness.
This is part of why I like winter, it's dark all the time so I get to go outside in a chill environment and when I come home it's dark and chill again so I can relax.
edit: I do find city noises very calming though, as long as it's not construction noises or a lawnmower
Am I supposed to be in this post?
