I've noticed a lot of those big-in-microblogging folks have figured out what gives viral among their audience and just keep repeating it over and over in different forms.
Why? Hooked on the validation? It doesn't seem healthy.

Its so sad when you return to a tiktok account you haven't seen since 2020, and its 4 years of doing the same bit once a week.
why? money.
validity in our society is a popularity contest now...
I mean, hes a public figure. Having an audience and being publicly seen is kinda good practice from a business standpoint. Of there are easy ways to do that of course public figures are gonna do them 🤷🏻♂️
Does kinda suck though. But I dont think its very surprising.
He seems like the kinda guy who spends a lot of time trying to kiss his own ass. This is probably just his disappointment after trying.
I've never really cared for NDT. Every time I've heard him talk or be interviewed it sounds like he thinks he's the most important guy ever.
NDT wants to explain to you how much he knows, Bill Nye wants to explain the stuff so you know how it works too.
I get the feeling he kisses himself on the lips in mirrors a lot.
At least once every couple years, it seems
I don't understand how this is supposed to be some kind of gotcha or mind blowing realization. Isn't it obvious to everyone older than 3yo in the entire world?
Have you wondered why it is that products often have very obvious warnings?
Not everyone out there is doing stupid things to try and get paid in a lawsuit, some are just that dumb.
Remember that fad with people wondering why mirrors 'knew' what was behind papers?
Some were just memeing, others were that scientifically illiterate.
Rich people don't run their own social media btw.
And counter-example: eskimo kisses (w/ eyelashes) checkmate!
I recently got a flexy mirror on a stick, meant to look at difficult to find vehicle parts.
Thanks for reminding me to inspect and floss my butthole with it too..
You just juxtaposed real-ass wisdom with bullshit.
Kudos.
ass-wisdom
anal/rectum wisdom, thank you very much!
Now I'm just picturing him kissing himself in the mirror over and over
His excuse in interview is that he recycles certain tweets after follower milestones. He's popular enough that there's thousands of new followers who won't have seen his tweets from years ago.
Yeah... Wouldn't want anyone to miss out on this banger...
He probably won't be tweeting it again because when asked to recreate this tweet they moved the mirror and he kissed a bug.
Hahahahaha
Youtuber thumbnails when their video doesn't go viral in 20 mins:
He clearly thought this one was a banger
Something about the way he acts always gives me the ick. It feels like a mask.
Absolutely I agree.
He's not trying hard enough. You can touch tongues, too. No entwining, but maybe in the P-reversed universe, that's just taboo.
in the p!=np universe, you can even grab your booty a little bit before the mirror guards get mad (they don't like PDA)
Mirror enforcers are a lot more serious than that. Just ask Lake (nee: piluT) from the "Infinity Train".
Neil Smokin DeGrasse Tyson forgetting what he’s already posted lol
I like to think that he... ah, what were we talking about again?
Don't remember. But hey, did you know that in a mirror you can only kiss yourself on the lips?
I like the progress as a science communicator that goes from unnecessarily grandiloquent and verbose to clear and concise.
Reads like Narcissus being frustrated...
I have tons of posts like this. Because I have memory issues for real.
