What a fucking scam
The person who leaked the data wasn't even an IRS employee, they were a contractor. Go after the company they worked through.
Or don't. Trump publicly promised to release his tax forms but didn't. Theft of them is meaningless, it's just release of what he said he'd release.
This is Trump negotiating with Trump to give Trump taxpayers' money.
Some thoughts:
- Why is he talking to the IRS about a lawsuit with his tax collection agency? Rhetorical question.
- Every other Pres ever has released their tax info publicly and willingly and he's going scorched Earth to crucify the company that leaked it. And America decided this person was fit for President.
This isn't about resolving anything. It's a made up grievance because he figured out that he can sue the government and then order them to pay him. It's just theft, plain and simple.
