What does the caption add? It's confusing. The joke doesn't make sense + 3 out of 4 lines are apparently referencing 10 year old tumbler drama.

I think it makes it even funnier but that's just me I guess

You get an upvote for the x-ray, but the reply goes over my head tbh

Sixpenceee was a huge tumblr blog back in the day and then she made a post about how her family had a child “servant” but it was ok because it was a cultural thing (I can’t remember where she’s from but it was not, in fact, a cultural thing). It was a big deal on tumblr back in the day. Then she started trying to sell therapy sessions despite being wholly unqualified. Fun times.

Edit: Just realised you might have meant the sniffing bleach part went over your head in which case same.

It was fucking wild watching that unfold because I never saw their Tumblr and yet. That was on everyone's Tumblr when people found out.

There's a pretty good video on the whole sixpenceeee situation here, for anyone that likes mini YouTube documentaries about tumblr drama

I once read a reddit post where some teen confessed that her family had a slave. She was like, "I think my family had a slave." They immigrated to the US from Indonesia or something and brought along their "adopted" kid. This teen's mother made this kid do all the chores for like 12 hours a day, and would beat her if she fell asleep on the job. It turns out a lot of families from their home country had "helper" children of a different ethnicity.

I read a statistic years ago that there are more slaves today than there ever have been at any one time in human history.
