Gets hit with a magnitude 9 Earthquake on the Richter Scale ... the coins don't just fall out, the whole machine pins you to the wall, showering you with coins as the entire 20 story building collapses in on top of you.

Lying against the wall with the coins showering over you:

If I ever saw a opossum do that to my food ..... I'd make it a cupcake box shaped house with a permanent door and supply them with daily cupcakes for life.

Well, now with your $94.75 in quarters you can buy a new body.

I think they have sensors that lock it down. My nephew started shaking one and it got pissed.

They also have an outer shell independent of the inner core machine.

So the older machines where your quarter or token just drops onto the rest and then it tries to push them. I have always wondered why someone hasn't tried putting an iron coin in and using a very wrong magnet to pull all the coins towards them?

How wrong does the magnet have to be?

Once I was on a cruise that had one of these in the casino, which you had to cross through to get to the arcade.

As we (kids) passed, the ship rocked and a bunch fell. We started gleefully scooping them up.

An employee thought we'd played and won, but on explaining just made us promise to use them all in the arcade.

What games did you play with the jackpot?

I don't even have the slightest memory. Apparently they didn't make as big an impact as getting a load of free quarters.

But it was probably some mix of the shooters, like Lethal Enforcers or House of the Dead, some of the side scrollers like Ninja Turtles or Simpsons, fighting games like Marvel vs Capcom or Tekken, a bunch of the ticket earners like skiball so I could get some amazing finger traps or erasers.

No idea what was in that specific arcade. Just a list of some classic favorites
