It’s almost there.

Y axis-How big of a deal aliens are to you
X axis-How powerless you feel in your day to day

Someone who is most powerless is least interested in aliens?

when you got nothing, you got nothing to lose

I for one welcome our alien overlords.

Disagreed! (also good comic choice! i love Indexed! i really need to set up a webcomics rss again) as my brother in law in law in law in law in law in law (i think that's the right number i lost count) with the most stressful job is very worried about aliens (he's not in ice, he's in medicine near the border). so not really space aliens although we do like talking ufos, we have seen some weird shit in the mountains near santa cruz but like, we were pretty high (on weed. and also my family likes playing pranks with a bigfoot suit i absolutely cannot tell anyone when or where we go camping) so like take it with an ocean of salt.

I haven't even begun to be interested in looking at the stupid fucking alien files Trump allegedly released.

I'm too concerned about the Epstein files that never got settled.

That's the opposite. If aliens show up, then I don't have to go to work!

Fun sci-fi fact!
A quiet theory in the Star Trek universe says Earth became a 2-class society (ultra poor or ultra rich). The rich ventures into space while the poor still struggles even though money\working isn't really a thing; sort of. Character Zefram Cochrane hated this with a passion. He invented warp drive, but lived in skid row.

I admire your optimism!

What do you mean, that's a whole new potential customer market

Having health insurance connected to your job in a country with absolutely no worker protection laws is peak dystopian fantasy.
