Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

I haven't used this template in a while, but alternate version of that:

Blazin' Bev memes always get a laugh out of me.

Same could be said of us bearded guys with hair. I just shampoo every thing from the neck up.

Well, at some point you start going down again, so no further than that.

I've got a shaved head and i just wash my face and hair at the same time. From the nape of my neck to the top of my head to my adam's apple and everything in between in one washing.

Not even bald, but I tend to just do my whole head in one go.

Ages ago I ran out of shampoo and just used body wash instead... after a few weeks of being too lazy to buy more shampoo, I realized my hair was... completely unchanged.

So, fuck it. Water and body wash are my shower's only two ingredients, for the past decade and change.

And I use shampoo for everything. And no, I am not implying anything. [=

Oh I can answer this! I stop when the tangent is > 45 degrees. Think Skyrim terrain logic. Everything else gets shampooed.

I asked this to my bald father once. Here's the gist of it.

With fancy facial cleanser? To more or less where the original hairline used to be.

Regular bar soap? To the crown. Shit gets oily.

[–] Klear@piefed.world 7 points 3 days ago

Where no man has ever gone before.

I'm kinda harry so...when I shave my face, how far DOWN should I go?

[–] bran_buckler@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I once asked a hairy guy if he has to take off his shirt when he shaves his face. He did not appreciate it.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

I take off my shirt when I shave, but that's because I don't want to get hair all over my shirt.

Rocking a skullet, my "face washing" goes to the hairline.

Since I use stuff that is gentler than regular soap on my face and other sensitive spots, I tend to use them on the bare areas of my scalp as well. Then again, I also tend to use really gentle shampoos too, so I could easily get away with using that on my face, I reckon.

But, yeah, in the shower I treat my scalp the same as my face, same products and such. When refreshing myself during the day, I use the same warm washcloth with no soap on the scalp too. Keeps things exfoliated well enough, and also keeps sebum from getting annoying.

Great.

So now in my mind Riker has never washed his genitals before... Thanks, OP.

Head canon for why he's constantly airing out his sack.

[–] sundray@lemmus.org 3 points 2 days ago

Gotta flaunt that musk.

[–] farmgineer@nord.pub 2 points 2 days ago

When I shaved my head, all the way.

[–] rockerface@lemmy.cafe 2 points 3 days ago

All the way to the base of my neck. Especially in the summer

[–] Rooster326@programming.dev 1 points 3 days ago

Am bald. I wash my head just like I did with hair. And it runs down to the rest of my head.

Then I wash my body up to the neck

Anymore washing that has me break out in acne.
