So if the traffic light illuminates a cave, and casts vehicle shadows on the wall, but you can’t see the vehicles themselves because of a tall jersey barrier…

[–] flamingo_pinyata@sopuli.xyz 9 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Then you gradually replace every part of that traffic light, is it still the same traffic light?

There is no traffic darkness, only a lack of traffic light.

[–] zarathustrad@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the traffic dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the traffic light.

As we remove cars from the traffic, when does it stop becoming traffic ?

If it selected all the traffic lights, I'd welcome it as one of our own

They can play tic tac toe, seems like a similar skill set.

According to some captchas, I'm not human. Some I swear I select all the squares 4 images in a role and I give up and move on with my life.

It’s funny cause AI can do that incredibly well now (I work with SAM3 and it absolutely can detect every single traffic light you throw at it…).

Wasn't it all used for categorising AI training data

[–] 50MYT@lemmy.world 2 points 12 hours ago

I absolutely can confirm AI can do it easy.

My favorite captcha is the one where you have to explain existential dread

Why flip the photo horizontally?

[–] lividweasel@lemmy.world 6 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Here ya go, I flipped back this “photo” of 4th-century BC figures.

Uh probably so that reading left to right corresponds to the respective questioner and responder in the background.
