This just isn’t the Wyoming I knew or thought I knew. The state needs to come to terms with the hate and ignorance that’s fueled death threats and violence against me, all because of my sexuality.
The Republican Party is filled with homophobia; any gay person who can't see that is kidding themselves.
He probably thought Republicans would hate him less for being gay than Democrats would hate him for having $47 billion to bid on buying TikTok
Not just the Republican Party, the Wyoming Republican Party. The state who got famous for beating and torturing a gay kid to death, and was perfectly happy to keep that reputation.
This guy could be the poster child for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party.
What makes me chuckle is two of the prominent people on The Bulwark (ex Republicans, maybe now, or at least don't like PEDOnald) are gay and lesbian - Tim Miller and Sarah Longwell.
I just don't understand why they were in that party. The conservative movement and their party do not have their backs. I'm sure both of them have to know about the Night of the Long Knives...they both seem to have an extensive education.
If only there had been some indication that republicans are homophobic…

It's funny that people like Thiel think because they are oligarchs they will be safe from the terrible people they are fostering.
Suppose Thiel succeeds in creating the world he wants. They will just come for him after they get to the poor gays. If he thinks being pals with a leader in Argentina is going to be enough, he's delusional. They can just seize his assets and hand him over to the Seven Mountain Mandate nutjobs.
