The cost of disasters, adapting, insurance issues and disruptions in supply chains start to weigh on the economy so it's not something that easily ignored anymore.
Those people who rejected science could always eat shit and die, though.
True, but that would also not solve the problem. The damage is done and getting worse.
I think we'd see some improvement if they ate shit and died.
Eh, I disagree with the headline. The body of the article is about how do we cool more efficiently or reduce the need for cooling, which are great goals. It's not that A/C can't get the job done, it just uses more energy and therefore is costly and polluting depending on the energy source.
