They're too stupid to understand adjectives.

[–] Honytawk@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 8 hours ago

No not capitalizing is bad?

[–] floquant@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago)

And it relies on nerdy inoffensive men and women to keep the power grid running. Lol

[–] elucubra@sopuli.xyz 10 points 23 hours ago (2 children)

I call AI.

That hammer is not the right type of generator hammer. I looks more like a microwave hammer.

[–] P1k1e@lemmy.world 4 points 22 hours ago

Common mistake, that's a microwave generator

[–] IndustryStandard@lemmy.world 1 points 22 hours ago

Ai meme images took off way less than expected. Many people are turned off by them.

[–] Zephyr@sh.itjust.works 2 points 21 hours ago

We can 100% build and maintain the infrastructure of society without people being rude or disrespectful towards one another.

[–] turdburglar@piefed.social 6 points 1 day ago

Hard times make strong men, strong men make good times, good times make soft men, soft men make me hard, or however it goes.

[–] Mok98@feddit.it 38 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Wasn't it that if the hard times last more than 4 hours you should go to the hospital?

[–] Klear@piefed.world 14 points 2 days ago (2 children)

If the hard times last more than 15 minutes you are legally allowed to leave.

[–] Sergio@piefed.social 2 points 1 day ago

Well, you're supposed to establish a safeword beforehand.

[–] Mok98@feddit.it 2 points 2 days ago

That's if the good times don't start after 15 minutes

Why does their propaganda always look like a homo-erotic book cover, some novel about dudes tickling each others' prostates after telling their wives they're going "fishing"

[–] Kintarian@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

My theory is conservatives are secretly gay but their magic man in the sky makes them feel guilty about it so they try to look like the pinnacle of masculinity. They should come out and be happy with being gay.

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 9 points 1 day ago

If they give it a try and both aren't into it, they usually claim it was an alien abduction.

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 37 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Uh oh some white dude’s not feeling special enough right now

[–] blarth@thelemmy.club 3 points 1 day ago

The kind of people this resonates with are the biggest goobers.

I'm reminded of the words of the first European in Louisiana. He crashed there and lived with various indigenous groups for 8 years before he got out. Some highlights:

  • I'm always burned. My skin peels constantly, like I'm some kind of lizard
  • The mosquitos cover me all day every day. They don't seem to bother the natives. I'm covered in welps, and the fires that keep them away burn my eyes
  • I'm always hungry. They tell me "don't worry, the feast is coming soon" but it turns out that was three months away. And then, after walking for weeks, 'the feast' was only prickly pears! They ate until their bellies were distended. I tried, I was so hungry, but the fruit stung the inside of my mouth and made me raw inside from top to bottom. I could only manage three or four
  • I finally got a piece of meat to cook today. As I had it on a stick in the fire a man came by, snatched it bare handed from the fire and ate it raw. He laughed in my face and walked away

Over 8 years he never got used to it. These complaints were constant. He only survived because of the kindness of the indigenous groups he came across.

Don't feel bad for him either. When he finally convinced a group to get him to the white folks, against their own terror at the idea, they were immediately slaughtered. He had them lay down their weapons ahead of time and everything, promising good treatment. His protestations afterwards consisted of "you didn't have to do that."

Surely its their hands that are calloused, not the men themselves? Otherwise that's a weird flex.

That is the point (part of, in any case) of this post. It is about facebook memes being peak, with said image attached as evidence.

But yeah.. it is extremely hard upvoting anything slop, even if ridiculing it.

Then don't. Ironic posting slop is still slop.

I know I always have my kerosene lantern lit in the middle of the day.

[–] OwOarchist@pawb.social 14 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Good to know that after the grid has collapsed, we'll still have unlimited gasoline for generators and kerosene for lamps.

Could be a diesel generator then you could use kerosene for both

[–] SpaceCowboy@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

After those clones are finished hammering on that generator, I guess they'll get to work on building an oil refinery, and get that done within a week so they won't run out of fuel for the generator?

If you were really about having that independence from society you'd have a bunch of solar panels and an EV.

[–] pentastarm@piefed.ca 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They have a perfectly good log fuckshack right there! Why are they making a more primitive fucklean-to?

Idk how all slop managed to get the exact same looking font tbh. I wonder if you can prompt it away or if they did something in the training to make sure it always spit out some type of legible text

[–] OwOarchist@pawb.social 8 points 1 day ago

Unrefined AI text is usually a horrible mess. They probably trained it rigorously on one particular font in order to get it to start producing legible and consistent text.

Different fonts are cool, but when the AI was trained on different fonts, it has less of a set idea of what each specific letter is supposed to look like, and the letters start getting inconsistent.

[–] jmp242@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 day ago

I swear it also all has the same visual "style" now too.

[–] Snapz@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

"Yeah, the twins are very earnest in the work they perceive to be important, but they are also extremely stupid. Don't worry, we only give them foam hammers and that's just a bubble machine that Bernard is hitting"

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 8 points 2 days ago

The technical term is “percussive maintenance”

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

And what made the grid go down?
