One minute beyond the deadline they will announce, "mitch was visiting the ole' Kentucky explosion factory today, not being a closeted homosexual, and in a freak accident, he exploded. So we're all super bummed that there can't be an autopsy now... Even if there could be of course, the results would just say he was definitely straight, and he was not dead for a month before his ~~corpse~~ living body was ~~deliberately~~ accidentally exploded."
Does he face growing questions? Does he? Because I have a strong feeling he's facing questions in the same way that rocks might.
He's passed on! This senator is no more! He has ceased to be! He's expired and gone to meet his maker! He's a stiff! Bereft of life, he rests in peace! If they hadn't nailed him to the hospital bed he'd be pushing up the daisies! His metabolic processes are now history! He's off the twig! He's kicked the bucket, he's shuffled off his mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible!! HE IS AN EX-SENATOR!!
We all know what they're doing, but apparently no one who could stop it cares to.

He is evidently unble to fulfill his duties. Needs to be replaced by someone who can.
There needs to be clause that say you can retroactively apply eligibility to the senate based on prior eligibility but systematic failure to let you run during the limited timeframe.

Our federal government operates not according to any a laws, state governors should just do whatever they want and cite the president as precedent.
Worst case a judge rules in 6 months and it doesn't change anything. They should do it.

Sometimes, the politics in my country enfuriate me.
But then I'm reminded just how absolute garbage it is in the US, and I feel better.
"growing questions" this, "demands proof of life" that, all of that is meaningless. Either declare him dead and issue the writs of election or he shows his face in public.
