Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

I'm split on protecting the horses. They aren't native to the land and have no business being there. I'd rather see bison herds take their place.

As the same time, it's just a bunch of horses, not really bothering anything, doing their horse thing. Let them be.

Turdpublicans are stripping the house bare and are setting it ablaze for the insurance money. 😡

Next it'll be the cats and the dogs.

Yum! Sign me up.

But, but… they’re the “good ones.” /s

Well if we’re going to exploit animals’ bodies by the billions for the pleasure of humans, we might as well throw horses in the mix too, right? While we’re at it, why not cats and dogs?

Puppy mills exist. Oddly haven't heard of cat mills but could be a thing I guess.

In order to provide fish for people to eat, there's a thing called bycatch, which is catching things you don't intend to catch. If there's a cute underwater animal you like, chances are we murder many of them as bycatch.

What else is there, let's see. Male egg laying chickens are born and then immediately blended alive, that's so we can have eggs on our shelves at the price they are. Dairy cows aren't immediately killed but have horrible short lives and are then killed for lack of milk production. That meat is poor quality so we feed it to our pets.

This doesn't sound like a new thing to me, just more of the same cruelty for profits sake.

The intersectionality between capitalism and the exploitation of all living creatures!

What the literal actual fuck is going on America.

[–] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

Unchecked greed as our shining beacon of guiding light. Most Americans are awful people who think they are good people.

This is basically the “tearing copper out of the walls before you break the lease” stage

It's the Biff Tannen timeline.

Troy Barnes returns to pandemonium in his flat, sees the troll doll in the fire, screams NO! Captioned "darkest timeline"

Collapsing empire with too much centralized power.

[–] Pollo_Jack@lemmy.world 8 points 18 hours ago

Republicans are so fucking evil.

[–] SupraMario@lemmy.world 1 points 12 hours ago

The BLM has been selling these for decades. You can get one and they paid you (1k) if you kept it for a year. Then you could drop it at a sale and make more money off it. This isn't just a trump thing. It's been going on for a long while now.

[–] eggpl4nt@lemmy.world 6 points 18 hours ago

This is heartbreaking. What the hell.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 9 points 22 hours ago

I'd have expected a vote on this plan to result in more neighs than yeas.

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 7 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Make Americans Glue Again? 😬

[–] digitalFatteh@lemmy.ca 10 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Oh oh I’ve seen this one before. Coming to supermarket shelves soon but still paying beef prices.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 7 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Ikea meatballs were a long-game ploy to get us hooked and Americans now ache with an insatiable hunger for horse-flesh.

[–] hoppeduponcoffee@lemmy.zip 2 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago) (1 children)

They’re looking forward to fisting horses to forcibly bring more into a world of human-orchestrated suffering.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

As documented in "J'Equus...!", a soon-to-be-written open letter examining these alleged abuses.

[–] hoppeduponcoffee@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 hours ago

Oh, I can see the seething internet outrage coming!

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 1 points 16 hours ago

As a horse girl I'm going to mourn these animals. He's actively attacking us from within
