I like horror films, but I refuse to watch that shit.

Well if that's what you believe, I don't know how I could convince you otherwise.

I believe you, I just don't get to use that gif very often 😉

It is! That's why I wouldn't miss a chance to deploy it! 😁

This reminded me Tim Curry was also in this movie.

Where is the meeecrofilm?

And looking better than he had since RHPS 😁

Reminds me of the time I thought The Naked Lunch was a recipe book…

With exception of pound cake I wouldn’t put the rest in my mouth.

I thought The Naked Lunch was a recipe book

Whereas Jamie Oliver's The Naked Chef probably disappointed a lot of people hoping to watch niche porn on TV 😁

When I was a kid, I didn't have cable, and my friend did. I saw Naked Chef on the schedule and begged him to just see what was on there. He knew, and told me it wasn't porn. But I wouldn't let it rest until I confirmed that yes, it was, in fact, not porn.

I think that might have been where the confusion started…

A Turkey Twizzler from the Naked Chef sounds… ominous.

[–] Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It also disappointed anyone who wanted to watch for good food and recipes!

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Hey now, Jamie Oliver made good, ordinary food back then. No chili jam in his fried rice or anything like that. The money and fame made him insane as a chef.

[–] Tomato666@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don't think Uncle Roger has ever said anything good about any iteration of Jamie Oliver.

[–] funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 days ago

yeah the opening passage about a spotlight searching for heroin addicts in a crumbling city really sets the tone for a delicious meal

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 1 points 3 days ago

Same principle as Roadside Picnic

I stayed home from work one day and that happened to be on Netflix. I was like "I hear about it all the time but how bad can it really be?" Pretty fucked lol.

Speaking of messed up movies. Has anyone seen dog tooth? Viewer beware
