- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

I really wish any party would tell the corporate money and influence to fuck off and actually pay attention to what the people need and want.

Democrats made a billion (that we know of) during Harris campaign.
With our two-party system, bOtH pArTiEs are guaranteed to win, even when they lose an election. If you look at the Harris campaign carefully, you'll see they actually took a fall with Harris purposefully.
To win any federal election in USA, you must get independent votes... they are 40% of voters. This is a long-established, incontrovertible fact. The Harris campaign decided to instead reach out to Republicans, repeatedly. That's not how you win an election. Harris knew this. Everybody in politics knows this.
They (D or R) make a fortune in "fund raising" either way.
In spirit I kind of agree, but they were aiming for the newly independent Republicans who were disgusted by Trump and hoped to pick up more of the "mythical moderates" that people seem to think exist in the millions. Meanwhile an examination of the election found that trump directly played to a "rally the base" plan and it obviously worked.
If Democrats would try for once to be Democrats and not just blue conservatives that tolerate gay/trans people they'd more than likely win, but they're not interested in that apparently.
They are, just that they fight against you.
Our party is basically just an auction house for influence. So we need to get on top of fundraising so we can buy the outcome we want from the DNC. At least they will be cheaper to bribe than the republicans. In essence we're bidding for outcomes against corporations.
Who/what is writing the plan?!
When I see this loser, I get the same feeling of hate that I get for Mike Johnson. He absolutely can NOT remain as Speaker after the Midterms. He holds significant responsibility for MAGA regaining power, and he's done nothing since to demonstrate that he's earned a second chance. Just the opposite, in fact.
He's gotta go.
If establishment doesn't hand over power, they will be replaced. They know that now. Hopefully, the leverage is enough.
