It's kinda crazy how quickly and efficiently the IDF wiped out an entire culture and forced the survivors into a near permanent diaspora for long after the person that reads this dies of old age. There may be no way Palestinians will ever able to be allowed to rebuild their homes within our lifetimes.
They won't be able to. The Gaza strip was densely populated with a large number of apartment complexes. Those can't just be rebuilt.
The Gaza Palestinians still alive are either currently living out of tents with the hope that the bombings will eventually stop so they can have the opportunity to live in whatever gets built (they likely won't) or have already seeked refuge in another country.
Also, none of this is new. It's been happening for 80 years and has been in planning for over 100.
That Nazis liquidated Warsaw and it was rebuilt. Gaza can be rebuilt but the Zionist colony needs to be defeated.
Yeah, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Kobe all have thriving cities today. They're more modern cities compared to some of the other ones surrounding them. They don't have historic districts or buildings because all of those were destroyed. It's all "new" architecture, as in 1950s-era forwards. Berlin is another example like this.
I predict something similar here. Within a hundred years from now it will all be rebuilt with cutting-edge architecture. It'll look like some of the "new cities" on the Arabian peninsula, like Dubai, only newer.
The problem is, the people doing the construction and the people the construction is being done for won't be the Palestinians. If any are allowed to stay at all, it'll be as social pariahs who take out the trash and clean the toilets, and live in closet-sized apartments in tucked-away districts that will forever be known as the "bad" or "shitty" parts of town and receive very little funding or maintenance from the municipality.
For the most part though, what's built there will be for the overflow population from Tel Aviv. Maybe a few billionaires and multi-millionaires from the US and other countries. It'll be a fascist technostate, built with full surveillance state technology and a high level of control. Precisely what billionaires want. A paradise on the surface, a hell under the covers.
A bit of a ramble:
It might even be the first of their neo-feudal corpo fiefdoms that they've been drooling about, unless the knesset insists on it belonging to them. Not sure which would be worse, honestly. Or even how much of a distinction there would be, as either way both will be working together on it...
Evangelicals in the US are probably imagining it will be the "New Jerusalem" from the book of revelation... I don't think they realize that what they're supporting is more akin to the anti-christ and the "merchants of babylon" from the same story...
I think they think the T in trump's name is the mark of the cross, but revelation says that they will be deceived and the anti-christ will use that symbol to mark the foreheads of his followers. It doesn't specify what the "true believers" will be marked with, but the Hebrew letter Tau (which means "mark") did not look like the Roman letter Tee.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist personally, but there are some eery parallels, and unfortunately this is what these people believe, and that's enough to make it real in some ways, especially when they're in positions of such power. Even if it's merely a self-fulfilling prophecy, it has a real effect on the world.
The global systems we have now will have collapsed before they ever get the chance. Within 50 years, most nations will be gasping for any relief in the heat.

I'd love to see the monsters hang for all this in my lifetime. Every single corrupt politician in their pocket and every single billionaire that could have made any difference. The only way to make our world better is to rid ourselves of the ones ruining it.

Right, but that's absolutely true. They have access to that technology. As we can see from the video they only destroyed the specific buildings they very particularly intended to destroy, which is to say, very specificially, every last one.
Purportedly the IDF can deliver a missile straight onto the balcony of the Iranian minister of defence or whoever it was. But can't find Hamas without tearing up whole cities, despite having said Hamas right next to them for decades.
If Hamas didn't exist Israel would invent it.
Netanyahu is the reason Hamas exists. He funded them in their elections, and made sure Israeli intelligence didn’t react to the inevitable security threats. It’s the same way the current US administration is tearing down their intelligence structures. The best thing that could happen to Trump and company is a terrorist strike in the US. Epstein and all the corruption will be completely forgotten in a fervor of fake patriotism, just like Israel did it.

As someone living in a county affected by all this, it's kinda funny seeing place names and zooming in only to find a pile of rubble.
Oh God it was funny in my head typing it out is just depressing asf.
I've also lived in places like this and honestly the whole "hey let's go to the mosque downtown we haven't been in a while, let me look it up, yeah it's right here..... Oh, well at least we can go to the nice coffee shop by the sea let's zoom in to see when it's ope.... Oh...."

The devastation is difficult to fully comprehend. An entire city reduced to a fine concrete dust, and they're still not done yet.

While I agree with Google hate, they don't keep these images up to date for privacy reasons, you'll never see an image on Google maps/earth newer than a couple years ago because of this.
That said, I wouldn't put it past them to hide this because they jumped right on board the renaming of the Gulf and lake Ontario.

This makes me sick to my stomach. The entire strip is destroyed at different degrees. Looking at what Google maps tags as an amusement park that is now leveled to the ground and contrasting it to the pictures of kids having fun in its info section is grotesque…
