If it wasn't a bike lane it would have been a car going much faster and likely would have hit instead of the near miss. Maybe she should have a different parking layout so she isn't backing into traffic.
I felt like I was missing something but why are we backing into a bike lane (or a busy street beforehand)? Wouldn’t it be safer driving forward?
It's a parking lot, look on google maps. This lady just needs to turn around, and maybe paint the lot lines a bit differently.
So.. it’s so dangerous, but there are not many bikers. And they are backing out directly into traffic…
My drivers ... are petrified. It is a really scary (crossing).
