~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

Maybe blood plasma, but not living blood cells.
You can replicate blood using Thomas Riker style transporter hijinks, or even replacement organs, there’s just those nasty ethical questions. (Less of an issue if you’re Janeway.)

I am going to use this joke first chance I get, not in the star wars context. This is a good one.
Very few jokes are entirely original, we all stand on the shoulders of those that came before. But word for word especially should be acknowledged as OP says they did.
