That episode never sat right with me. Everyone is just fine OG Harry died.

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

They were going to kill off Harry when they introduced 7 of 9. But then People Magazine put Garrett Wang on a sexy men list, so they killed Kes instead.
The really crazy thing is the fallout from that. Originally they were going to add a male Borg, but since they were now eliminating a female character, they instead cast Jerri Ryan, who was married to an Illinois Republican. The time separate put a strain on their marriage and they divorced. When her husband ran for Senate, he looked like a shoe in. But when the media got their divorce records unsealed, there was some embarrassing things that led to him dropping out late in the race, clearing the way for an upstart state senator Barack Obama to be elected instead.
So, in effect, People Magazine editors thinking Harry Kim was sexy lead to the Obama presidency.
You are being a ways to kind to Jeri's ex-husband. He tried to force her to go to various sex clubs to fuck in public and was generally emotionally manipulative.
That's what torpedoed his political career and made way for Obama in federal politics.
It's no promotion, but it's something.
We'd grieve, but it's much easier to act as if nothing happened by tomorrow.
RIP Landfill #1
I don't remember, did the voyager split into two or did the second voyager splinter from the first?
The field diverged that space equally at the same instance in time. It's the same people but in a contained timeline split where they made slightly different decisions from each other causing one to be worse off than the other.
It's the same Harry and the same Naomi Wildman. But the curse of knowledge is knowing there was an exact copy that died.
“Starfleet is weird”

Imagine Voyager finally getting to earth and Harry Kim is going, "Wait, where the hell are all the dinosaurs, and who moved all the statues of Grand Emperor Khan I?!"
Found the dinosaurs, but they refuse to recognize that we're distantly related.
And even then he never got promoted beyond Ensign.
There awalys has to be an ensign on the bridge... I don't buy it Janeway!
I saw this in the main feed and without knowing which community this was from, and by the time I found out I almost managed to put all the pieces together about why this is all about Asian Jim from The Office (US).
Hmm, both? Punishing myself have me some form of satisfaction because of how much I hated myself. But I started to get in really good shape which fed into more self loathing. I thought I was fundamentally broken and being ripped but still 'worthless' just proved to me how broken I was.
This was all more than a decade ago. I got diagnosed bipolar and medicated a couple after that episode and that was a massive game changer. I don't have those thoughts or feelings at all anymore
Glass that you got help! But I think this might be the wrong post.
