The eating part could be true, but I think they got the wrong species of mammal. It's more of a porcine variety.

Welp, I guess they gotta let a lot of people go due to a lack of evidence. :P

Will you arrested him with the big bag of drugs but the rats ate it all, *winks, oh dear.

[–] hoanbridgetroll@midwest.social 23 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Of course they are - it’s very difficult for a rat to use a lighter.

[–] the_crotch@sh.itjust.works 2 points 8 months ago

How did they decarboxylate it though?

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 17 points 8 months ago

New Orleans police need to store their marijuana somewhat other than the evidence room. That's going to get confusing.

They probably have never heard of steel boxes?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 23 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Hard to steal weed out of steel boxes and then blame it on the rats.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

That's exactly the idea.

[–] RedWeasel@lemmy.world 6 points 8 months ago

3/4 of the way through the headline I was like, that isn't good, then that's funny finishing it..

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 6 points 8 months ago

Maybe if your cannabis didn't taste so good, the rats wouldn't be eating it.

What's the likelihood that those rats are whiye lab rats and very friendly to people?
