Impossible to say for sure, but Winogrand probably was somewhere neurodivergent. There was definitely something there driving him beyond photography, to capture a scene with no clear plan on ever seeing the final image.

Back in the view camera days, everything was tripod mounted and remotely triggered anyway. If he's using a gimbal or a Wimberley Sidekick kind of telephoto mount, that's taking all the weight off your hands...
Can't say this ever happened to me with camera stuff, but I had multiple sellers jerk me around when I was selling my track bike wheels, I had the axle length plastered about three times over the ad (track/fixed gear bikes often have a thinner hub size than regular road bikes) and I still had buyers show up for whom they would be the wrong size.
For portraits, I just send them the bulk. I have "preferred" photos, sure, but I don't tell them that.

What autofocus mode were you using, assuming AI servo? Aperture seems a bit too open to me, but most of my subjects aren't moving.
