Predictably, every comment in this thread is somebody responding to a software glitch by losing their mind about imaginary cancel culture

Season 19 is a banger from start to finish
It's a confusing episode because it tries to have a moral of "don't lie" which is usually reserved for children's programming. It doesn't really feel patronizing because I don't get the impression that Matt Stone and Trey Parker give a shit whether I tell lies, but it makes the whole thing feel like it's lacking some direction. Feels like they wanted to make an episode about the Pinewood Derby but couldn't figure out what kind of story to tell. Stealing some kind of government device and achieving warp speed with a pinewood derby car is a hilarious setup, but it really meanders from there, especially when you know the ending already.
If the classic era means the height of the show's influence on pop culture, like the "oh my god they killed Kenny" and "screw you guys I'm going home" stuff, that was over by season 4. I also think the show generally gets a lot better at that point
The reason people don't know how to do shit is that they don't have to do shit, because we are living under a mode of production centered around chaotic whimsy rather than human needs. If there's any possible way for a product/service to make a person lazier, it will be marketed and sold, and the news will talk all day about how this is what Freedom looks like
I loved the special but I wish it delved more into the innate toxicity of a system that brands dependence as liberty. We were a lot "freer" as a people when we had useful skills, and we became less free when we decided to outsource every ounce of effort to multinational mega-conglomerates who decide to shrinkwrap a peeled banana for a 700% upcharge
Trey sounded like he had a really hard time doing the Mickey voice last time he showed up
The messaging about heroin in that episode was more effective than any DARE ad I ever saw
