I was able to bypass that by logging into YouTube without a phone number, and then going to Google accounts. Not sure if that still works.
The clever part is that there is no paper trail: the printer hadn't been paid. π€

I use something like this for my wireless doorbell because people kept stealing the battery. I've had it for years and it works really well.
Most of the good ones are either invite only or pay for, and even then you'll only get access to some of the keys needed.
None of the free ones provide keys as far as I've been able to find.
It seems rather messy and convoluted compared to how usenet used to be.
